Upon the invitation of Artistic Director Gil Roman, Friedemann Vogel will dance Maurice Béjart’s Song of a Wayfarer, a duet between two male dancers. It tells the poignant story of a wayfarer, a romantic student pursued by fate who fights against loneliness before being led away by the hand of destiny. Created in 1971 for Rudolf Nureyev and Paolo Bortoluzzi set to the music of Gustav Mahler ,,Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen'' is an expressive, lyrical and highly intense duo. The performances will take place in the Soirée Mahler ''Hommage à Jorge Donn'' from 22 to 30 June 2013 at Théâtre de Beaulieu Lausanne.
