As always, Friedemann is delighted to be performing in Japan again, this time as a special guest of Paris Opera Ballet étoiles in Le Grand Gala . Friedemann will be partnering Amandine Albisson, Leonore Baulac, and Ludmila Pagliero to dance a range of classical and contemporary pieces from 30 July to 5 August at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Nagoya and Osaka.

Friedemann is thrilled to be going back to Tokyo so soon, this time with the Stuttgart Ballet for a special gala. In addition to dancing two pas de deux with Elisa Badenes - from John Cranko's Onegin and Kenneth MacMillan's Mayerling - Friedemann will be exceptionally performing Béjart's masterpiece Boléro with the Tokyo Ballet. The gala will take place from 19th to 21st March, and Friedemann is really looking forward to dancing for the audience in Japan again. Friedemann is very much looking forward to returning to Tokyo for his seventh participation in the World Ballet Festival, which brings together many of the most internationally sought-after ballet stars on the same stage every three years. For this 2021 edition, Friedemann will be teaming up with his fellow Stuttgart Ballet étoile Elisa Badenes to dance a pas de deux from the classical repertoire and another from a contemporary production from 13th to 22nd August.

The “Alina Cojocaru Dream Project 2020” will bring Friedemann back to one of his favourite cities: Tokyo, where he will share the stage with other ballet stars from 5th to 9th February. Programme details will be announced closer to the time. Dates & tickets

For the third time in 2018, Friedemann will be performing in Japan! This time, he will be on tour with his company, Stuttgart Ballet, to perform two celebrated John Cranko classics: Onegin and Swan Lake. A big fan of Japan, Friedemann is happy to go back again so soon, to dance the title role in Onegin on 2nd November and Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake on 9th November, with Alicia Amatriain as his Tatjana and Odile/Odette in the respective ballets. He will also perform Swan Lake with her again in Hyogo on 17th November.

Following his performance with Tokyo Ballet as guest artist in spring, Friedemann is thrilled to go back to Japan for the second time this year, for the World Ballet Festival in summer. This will be his sixth participation in the much anticipated triennial event, and Friedemann is looking forward to dancing with fellow ballet stars from around the world again from 1st to 15th August in Tokyo. Following his premiere in Sir Frederick Ashton’s The Dream with Sarasota Ballet in March , Friedemann will reprise his role as Oberon as guest artist with the Tokyo Ballet on 28 and 30 Apr at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan. Friedemann has not performed in Tokyo since his last tour there in 2015 with Stuttgart Ballet, and is excited to be back in one of his favourite cities, as well as to collaborate with the Tokyo Ballet again.

During the Stuttgart Ballet Tour Friedemann will perform on 21. November the title role in John Cranko's Masterpiece ''Onegin'' for the first time in Japan. The tour starts in Tokyo on 13. November with Romeo and Juliet followed by a Gala performance on 18. November at Bunka Kaikan Theatre.

Friedemann Vogel will join the "Étoiles Gala" in Japan. His program including Pas de Deuxs from Manon, Onegin and the Lady of the Camellias together with Paris Opera Étoiles Amandine Albisson and Isabelle Ciaravola. The Performances will take place in Nagoya , Tokyo and Osaka. The tour starts in Nagoya on 25th July 2014.
