Friedemann has always enjoyed performing widely contrasting work across the dance spectrum, from romantic hero roles like Armand Duval in John Neumeier’s The Lady of the Camellias to more contemporary productions such as the upcoming Stuttgart Ballet premiere of Jiří Kylián’s One of A Kind. Having performed Bella Figura and Forgotten Land- two other critically acclaimed pieces by the world-renowned choreographer - Friedemann is looking forward to dancing One of A Kind for the opening night on 22 February, with more shows to follow.
Following his performance with Tokyo Ballet as guest artist in spring, Friedemann is thrilled to go back to Japan for the second time this year, for the World Ballet Festival in summer. This will be his sixth participation in the much anticipated triennial event, and Friedemann is looking forward to dancing with fellow ballet stars from around the world again from 1st to 15th August in Tokyo.
