Premiere of ''Manon'' with the Vienna State Ballet
Friedemann Vogel will dance for the first time at the Vienna Opera House. Artistic Director Manuel Legris invites Friedemann to dance the opening night of ''Manon'' on January 8th 2013. His Partner will be Principal Dancer Maria Yakovleva from Vienna.
The next Perormance is on the 11th January 2013.
Friedemann as Romeo for 50th anniversary of John Cranko’s "Romeo and Juliet"
Friedemann will dance together with Alicia Amatriain the titel role of this special Gala performance on 2nd December 2012 in Stuttgart. Many former stars of the company will dance in the performance.Marcia Haydée as Juliet’s nurse, Ray Barra as Duke of Verona, Birgit Keil as Lady Capulet, Egon Madsen as Pater Lorenzo and Georgette Tsinguirides (original cast 02.Dec 1962) as Gypsy.

Friedemann will dance the Premiere of ''The Sleeping Beauty'' in Stockholm.The wonderful Production by Marcia Haydée reawakens the magic of the world’s favourite fairy tale in the beautiful surroundings of the Royal Opera House in Stockholm.

Friedemann Vogel with the Finnish National Ballet
Friedemann will perform the role of Chevalier des Grieux in Sir Kenneth MacMillan's Manon with the Finnish National Ballet in Helsinki.The love story of Manon Lescaut and the Chevalier des Grieux is a lyric tragedy of innocence corrupted in the pleasure-seeking world of Paris in the early 18th century.Des Grieux, a victim of Manon's desires, sacrifices everything to follow her to a tragic end.
Raymonda at La Scala Milano

On 8 September 2012 Friedemann recieved the prize in Positano, Italy.The international Jury comprising Alfio Agostini (Ballet2000), Anna Kisselgoff (New York Times), Roger Salas (El Pais), Leonetta Bentivoglio (La Repubblica), Clement Crisp (Financial Times), Valeria Crippa (Corriere della Sera), Jean-Pierre Pastori (La Tribune de Genève), René Sirvin (Le Figaro) declared Friedemann as the winner of the Prize ''Best male dancer''.
